OGsys Regulatory Specialist – Houston Texas

Our Houston TX client, located in the Galleria area, is in need of OGsys Regulatory Specialist for a contract to possible hire opportunity.

Summary:
Ideal candidate with have experience working in Oil & Gas Production and in regulatory filings (the state of NM would be ideal, but other states such as OK would be considered too).

Description:
Candidate will need to be able to make sure that the tax rates are current and accurate and that the state filings are timely and accurate.
Will assist company in entering data while they change their ERP from Excalibur to OGsys.

Requirements:
Accounting degree preferred, but not required.
Proficiency in OGsys is Required.
Familiarity with Excalibur would be beneficial, but not required.
Must have worked for an Oil & Gas Production company.
Must have experience with regulatory filings (NM or OK preferred).

Full Charge Accountant – Addison Texas

Our client in Addison, TX is looking for a qualified Full charge accountant for their firm. The selected candidate will have a degree and will need one to two years of accounting experience. For the first two months they will be assisting in tax preparation and after April 15 th they will begin to work on monthly and quarterly accounting activities associated with the firm. Most of the work is done in Quickbooks but internally they use Creative solution software. For tax work they use Pro Series. The selected candidate must be willing to lear and reliable as they will need to be well versed in the day to day operations of the firm. A willingness to pursue their CPA is a plus and they welcome someone that would like to bring in new business.

Summary:

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree is a must.

Oil and Gas knowledge a plus.
