Manager of Graphic Design Services – Nashville Tennessee

Our downtown Nashville,TN client is looking for a Manager of Graphic Design Services to join their growing, fast-paced team on a direct hire basis.

Position Description:
The Manager-Graphic Services is responsible for the development and execution of the firm’s branded print and electronic marketing collateral.
The Manager-Graphic Services designs or oversees the design and implementation of electronic and print marketing collateral, including pitch templates, brochures, newsletters, blogs, videos, invitations, advertisements, announcements, event collateral, web graphics, interactive presentations and other ad-hoc graphic design requests. This position also executes the design and layout of international/multilingual materials—with an awareness of cultural considerations—including Chinese, Japanese and Arabic in coordination with external and internal translators/advisors.
This person will act as brand steward by having strong familiarity with look, feel, voice and overall brand presence and will help to develop/evolve the brand, develop new materials and templates for collateral within brand guidelines, and will determine how to create marketing content for use across multiple devices (e.g., Desktop, Blackberry, iPhone).
Serving as a liaison with IT and the department, the Manager-Graphic Services will maintain the Communications Mac platform server and handle all technical issues for the graphics group, including troubleshooting equipment/software issues, specifying and coordinating hardware/software purchases to ensure that the graphics group has the appropriate tools for optimal workflow.
This person will also act as liaison to IT with regard to all communications and business development content on the Intranet, including design and modification of pages as appropriate.
The Manager-Graphic Services will assist in the development and design of external and internal technical solutions including blogs, extranets, intranets and automated template generators and will provide graphics, project planning and production/technical expertise and counsel to Communications team, other marketers, and IT staff as well as lawyers and other department leaders.
The Manager-Graphic Services will advise IT staff with regard to the distribution of electronic communications and the creation of branded templates for use in firm pitches as well as develop creative guidelines and training materials/sessions for marketing staff.
The person in this position will establish and implement procedures for project organization and archive, build and maintain the graphics and photography library, ensuring that all licenses to image use are maintained, and will work with internal and external vendors for the production of marketing materials.
The Manager-Graphic Services will act as point person for facilities on signage and stationery. This position will supervise the traffic/production coordinator and freelance designers and work closely with Communications team, other marketers, lawyers and other department leaders.
This position will strategize/understand the strategy behind specific collateral in development and deliver a final piece that is on strategy and visually cohesive, coherent and compelling to its intended audience.

Requirements:
Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years’ progressive graphic design, design management and execution experience.
Candidate should have a high proficiency with Adobe CS 5 (or higher), including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, After Effects and Premiere and have the ability to implement design solutions across the Microsoft Office Suite. Strong HTML/technical skills are required.
Candidate should have a track record of implementation/production and experience supervising designers and traffic/production staff and negotiating with vendors.
Candidate must present a portfolio showcasing design skills across a variety of touch points.
Candidate must have thorough knowledge of the graphic services function and be able to complete moderately complex assignments, as well as broad knowledge of other marketing functions in the department.
Candidate should be able to anticipate and address issues and opportunities with little or no supervision.
Candidate should be able to find and effectively use data, experience and judgment to formulate realistic and sound points of view; be able to develop and make formal presentations to management and other groups throughout the firm, and have the ability to maintain positive relationships with firm leaders and partners, marketing colleagues and superiors.

Workers Compensation Claims Analyst – Houston Texas

Our Houston, TX client, located in the Galleria of Houston, is in need of a Workers Compensation Claims Analyst.

Job Summary:
Manage a portfolio of Workers Compensation claims providing efficient, effective, and reliable claims services, and ensuring timely resolution. Will need to understands all aspects of company insurance program relating to coverage, state fund participation and self-insured status, Managed Care Organizations, deductibles and self-retentions

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct and coordinate loss investigations on all assigned claims to provide accurate facts for disposition
Evaluate and negotiate the resolution of claims, while mitigating damages, to achieve cost effective claim outcomes
Negotiate the settlement of assigned claims within authorized amounts or specific file authority to produce appropriate outcomes
Review reserves on all assigned claim files and recommend changes where necessary to ensure actuarial accuracy
Effectively manages the workers compensation claims process by assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating each claim or case.
Monitors third party administrators, maintains periodic reviews of all types of claims including, serious vocational rehabilitation, questionable and sensitive claims.
Determines the severity of injuries, extent of disability, treatment plans, functional abilities and physical job requirements to establish target return to work plans and/or strategy to manage future medical exposure
Establishes appropriate reserves to reflect claim exposure.
Proactively manages lost time and medical expenses to achieve appropriate claim outcomes.
Facilitates earliest appropriate return to work release and coordinates return to work efforts with all parties as appropriate.
Works with medical providers and gives necessary information to facilitate a return to work plan on claims requiring disability management.
Obtains job description and discusses job modifications required to ensure a prompt return to work.
Pursues all claim resolution opportunities, (i.e.) return to work, structured settlement, and discontinuance of benefits through litigation within settlement authority or seeks additional settlement authority from management.
Ensures apportionments, subrogation, and Second Injury Fund opportunities are explored to reduce costs.
Monitors, analyzes and evaluates medical review process for efficiency, quality and cost reduction opportunities.
Manage claim strategy including written policies and procedures for claims reporting and handling, and other initiatives.
Update claim status
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience;

Requirements:
3 or more years Workers Compensation claims management and
5 or more years Workers Compensation claims adjusting experience

Position Description:
The Manager-Marketing Communications is responsible for presenting a meaningful, differentiated and consistent story about our offices, practices, lawyers and key initiatives to our target audiences.
The Manager-Marketing Communications will strategize, plan, budget, create, execute and measure the effectiveness of our visual and verbal communications in building awareness of, interest in and respect for who the firm is and what the firm stands for among targeted clients/prospects, recruits, alumni and other audiences, excluding the media.
This position will take a lead role with lawyers, business development and communications staff to determine whether marketing collateral is needed and, if so, the optimal methods and formats to meet their needs.
The person in this position will develop and maintain a collateral system for the firm’s practices/industries that is efficient and easily implemented, and will develop concepts/positioning and write or edit content for collateral materials (brochures, newsletters, announcements, invitations, advertisements, partner biographies, website content and online and direct mail campaigns that target clients, prospect clients, law students/laterals, alumni and other opinion leaders/publications).
The Manager-Marketing Communications will work closely with both the public relations team and the internal Communications Manager to ensure consistency/synergy of messaging across all external and internal audiences and to ensure the quality, consistency and timeliness in the creation and production of communications materials and other branded touch points.
The Manager-Marketing Communications will take a lead role in seeking and introducing new ways to leverage our content in new/improved channels and vehicles in order to strengthen relationships with our clients/prospects and with other key external audiences, and draft and/or edit materials that support firmwide initiatives, including recruiting law students and lateral partners, diversity and pro bono initiatives.
This position ensures brand standards are upheld across the firm’s marketing materials, online content, and messaging as well as contributes to development and implementation of the firm’s online marketing strategy and content for our website.
The person in this position will help manage relationships with outside vendors providing design, writing and other consulting services, and establish and maintain an efficient method for collateral access and version control including managing stationery system.

Qualifications:
Candidate must have a college degree, with an advanced degree a plus, and a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience.
Relevant experience includes all elements of marketing communications, including strategy, writing, project management (timelines/budgets), design and other creative execution, development, event planning, brainstorming and presenting/selling ideas.
Candidate should have a track record of success and increased responsibility in strategy development, business planning, writing/editing, branding/advertising, professional services marketing and supervising/mentoring junior talent.
The candidate should have thorough knowledge of the marketing communications function and broad knowledge of the other marketing functions in the department; be able to set their own day-to-day priorities based on balancing incoming requests and overall objectives of the firm and the requestor; and be able to anticipate issues and opportunities, and address them with little or no supervision.

Estimator-Pipeline Construction – Spring Texas

Our Spring, TX client is in need of Estimators for direct hire opportunities.

Job Summary:
The Estimator is responsible for the overall planning and coordinating efforts to produce comprehensive pipeline project cost estimates.  This position will take a lead role in providing data and cost analysis for estimate reviews and presentations.

Primary Job Function:
Utilize the company approved costing methodology, data and systems to present estimate results in a detailed breakdown format suitable for use by the project manager and the project team.
Prepare cost estimates assuring that all necessary costs are detailed and included in the estimate; such as management services, equipment and material costs, construction costs, operating costs, and other costs associated with oil and gas industry projects.
Attend client pre-bid meeting and job showing, visit the job sites, and keep a record of all verbal information disseminated by the client during the pre-bid meeting and job showing.
Prepare project cost estimate from the client’s RFQ documents and drawings and any other information learned during the pre-bid showing.
Know and be able to explain the details behind each estimate, including the basis of the man-hours allocated for each task, personnel resources needed to execute each task, etc.
Maintain meticulous cost estimating tools including databases, spreadsheets, and other computer-based applications to keep up dated information on past performance and industry standards.
Maintain lines of communications between company departments, project manager and client with regard to cost estimating activities.
Assist project manager on alternative project execution approaches based on the scope of work and the most cost effective execution methods available.
Other tasks include preparing process flow diagrams, layout drawings, data sheets and technical job reports

Experience:
5+ years of experience in project cost estimating/project management with an emphasis on oil and gas industry projects.
Field experience in the construction of pipelines is a REQUIREMENT!!
Strong computer experience with Microsoft Office products, specifically excel.
Must have training in project cost estimating, negotiating contracts and outsourcing logistics.

Education/Training:
Engineering, technical, or construction management degree is preferred.

Proven time management and follow-through skills with the ability to work on multiple tasks with tight deadlines.

Electronics (Circuit Board) Technician – Franklin Tennessee

Our Franklin, TN client is looking for an Electronics (Circuit Board) Technician to join their team on a contract to hire basis. 

Required Skills:
Experience with/ability to work from schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, wiring braiding/braided harness, and harness boards.
Ability to install and repair electronic systems.
Good soldering skills
Circuit board repair experience
Electronic repair experience
Good organizational skills
Neat and clean work habits
Excellent attention to detail
Self starter
Strong ability to learn and follow directions
Good phone skills and customer service skills.
Must have a linear troubleshooting way of thinking.
Able to keep deadlines
Excellent time management
Previous shipping experience is a plus
Packing orders according to check list and overall shipping room duties will be party of this role
Ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent with six to twelve months experience.
